As if by magic it is November and suddenly cold. We decide to head over into Staffordshire to explore Tittesworth Reservoir. It is a delightful place, nice and quiet at this time of year. Lots of water birds , cormorants, Lapwings ,grebes to name a few and we are treated to a close up of a magnificent heron on our 5 mile walk. It is a lovely day for the first day of November and driving home we take in fantastic views from the old Mermaid Public House (now sadly holiday accommodation).
